On the occasion of the Miami International Yachting Show, one of the leading industry events in the USA, Bluegame, the Italian shipyard specialized in the production of “Sport Utility boats”, presents its new BG62’ which will be on display in the Sanlorenzo booth from February 14 to 18. Beginning in 2018, Bluegame has launched a new chapter in its history with the addition of Sanlorenzo as a company shareholder.

Conceived by the founder Luca Santella, the innovative Bluegame boats represent a cultural, functional and morphological synthesis of different types of boats, such the Fisherman, tenders, chase boats and open boats that merge into a single one never seen before, a new type of multipurpose boat called “Sport Utility boat” designed for true sea lovers.

The new BG62’, currently the largest model in the Bluegame line, will be on display on the occasion of the Miami International Yachting Show. With an overall length of 18.8 meters and a width of 5.37 meters, BG62’ is the result of the desire to combine large living spaces designed in the name of the utmost comfort, with that ease of navigation that distinguishes all the shipyard’s boats, guaranteeing total freedom to the shipowner without the need to rely on a crew

Some of the other elements that make Bluegame boats unique on the market, include:

• a generous cockpit;
• forward and aft sun lounges;
• walkaround with high sides for safe operation;
• central helm station;
• carbon fiber superstructure and top;
• infusion lamination;
• a revolutionary, surprisingly spacious deck area, with a large cockpit salon and galley;
• the central part of the stern that lowers to launch and board a 12’ tender;
• multipurpose swimming platform with recessed gangway and swimming ladder.

In addition, the advanced propulsion system Volvo IPS ensures high performance, low fuel consumption, and best maneuverability in any conditions.

Maximum care was also given to materials, such as wood and fabric, which were specifically selected to lend warmth to the interiors. White or grey lacquered teak was used for the walls and custom-made furniture, while the slatted floor is designed with similar materials but in a natural finish. The ceilings are in a white technical fabric and the dinette can be customized with a choice of fabric or leather upholstery.
