New Sanlorenzo SD126 ‘Darya’ delivered
Brand new Sanlorenzo SD126 ‘Darya’ was delivered last week to Iranian owners. The sale was finalized by Nick Gelevert, the third generation involved at the family business Lengers Yachts. It was a special transaction according to Nick: ‘I met the clients during the Monaco Yacht Show 2019. They were very interested and we immediately flew together to the shipyard in Viareggio, where there was one SD126 already under construction. Following intense discussions going deep into the night over 3 days, this sale was complete in less than 72 hours – a record for the shipyard for a yacht this size!’
The decoration of the yacht was perfected with the Owner’s input. ‘The Owners are very experienced and knew exactly what atmosphere they wanted on board Darya’, says Nick Gelevert Lengers. The latest example of the SD126 range, Darya has a length of 37.95 meters and offers accommodation for ten guests in five cabins, including a full beam main deck master. Accommodation for six crew ensures that a five star level of service is available at all times. She is powered by two Caterpillar C32 engines with 1,622mhp powering her to a top speed of 17 knots and ensuring a range of 3,000 miles at 11 knots.
Darya will first cruise in the West Mediterranean with her Owners on board before crossing to the Caribbean for the winter season, where she will be available for charter through our partner Boatsters Black.
